The following organizations and individuals are currently working together with The Lyons Fiddle Festival:

Miller Center for the Arts and Reading Area Community College
Nationally-celebrated gospel ensemble The Blind Boys of Alabama will perform at the Miller Center for the Arts at Reading Area Community College on Friday, November 18, 2016. Opening for The Blind Boys at 7:30 p.m. will be the 2016 Grand Champion of the Lyons Fiddle Festival to be announced on September 18.
Tickets for The Blind Boys of Alabama are $39 Adult, $20 Student and may be purchased by calling the Miller Center Box Office at 610.607.6270 or visiting The box office is open MWF, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and one hour before the performance.
Since their inception in the 1930s, The Blind Boys of Alabama has persevered through seven decades to become one of the most recognized and decorated roots music groups in the world. Touring throughout the South during the Jim Crow era of the 1940s and 1950s, the Blind Boys flourished thanks to their unique sound, which blended the close harmonies of early jubilee gospel with the more fervent improvisations of hard gospel.
In the early 1960s, the band sang at benefits for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and were a part of the soundtrack to the Civil Rights movement. The group has since gone on to win five Grammy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Grammy, to be inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame, and to perform at the White House for three different presidents.
Reading Area Community College receives state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

KU Presents
Sarah Larsen, 2015 Lyons Fiddle Festival Grand Champion, will be the opening act for Natalie Macmaster with KU Presents on March 23, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in the Schaeffer Auditorium.
According to KU Presents website, world acclaimed fiddler and multiple Juno Award winner, Natalie MacMaster, and her husband Donnell Leahy, bring their internationally acclaimed fiddle mastery to the Schaeffer stage. The pair are a musical force - with their genuine onstage chemistry exploding with energy and freshness. The couple's most recent album, ONE, is a collaboration of creative Celtic medleys, impressive musical pedigree, with the traditional Cape Breton groove - a marriage made in musical heaven.
After three decades of performing and multiple gold albums, MacMaster still maintains her devotion to family by having her five children join her and her husband on tour.

Kutztown Home and Farm Center
Kutztown Home and Farm Center, located North US 222, Kutztown, will be hosting the famous annual raffle for a handcrafted quilt the Lyons Fiddle Festival will be giving away September 18 at the festival, rain date September 25. Please visit Kutztown Home and Farm Center to see this gorgeous quilt in person and purchase raffle tickets.

Landhaven Bed and Breakfast
Landhaven is located in the the village of Huff’s Church, Pennsylvania! Ed and Donna Land, proprietors, restored an old 1870’s general store and turned it into a five bedroom bed and breakfast, each with its own specialty bathroom, offering great country breakfasts, a perfect retreat in the contryside in the midst of many adventures, and a lively concert hall echoing the building’s history as the center of the community.
Landhaven will be hosting Lyons Fiddle Festival entertainers, Victoria Lee and New Ground. In return for their services, Victoria Lee and New Ground will be holding a concert at Landhaven the evening before the festival. For tickets and more information, contact Landhaven at

Dave Kline
Dave Kline, entertainer and radio show host, has been given a spot for bringing new talent this year at the Lyons Fiddle Festival in partnership with Haley Sheeler. Sheeler is a 21-year-old singer songwriter who enjoys performing at festivals and private events throughout Berks County.

Meadowood Music
Meadowood Music, Blandon, Pa, is a stringed instrument specialty shop located between Reading and Allentown. Mike Andrews and Paula Taylor, proprietors and musicians, maintain their website as a resource for musicians. Mike is also a crafter of violins.
Special Mention!
Meadowood Music is hosting the Lyons Fiddle Festival’s brand new raffle of a 000-15M Martin guitar valued at $1,799. You can visit Meadowood Music to see the guitar and purchase tickets. Winner will be announced September 18, rain date September 25.

Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kuztztown University
Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kuztztown University will be holding its annual Easter on the Farm, March 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Egg hunts are at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. This is a free event. Keith Brintzenhoff, Lyons Fiddle Festival MC and committee chairperson, will be performing kids’ songs, two shows, and plans on having an eggsellent time at Easter on the Farm. He will announce the Lyons Fiddle Festival and will also leave cards there.

Leesport Farmers Market
March 28, is the Berks County Fersommling. Keith Brintzenhoff, Lyons Fiddle Festival MC and committee chairperson, will be performing with his band Toad Creek Ramblers. He will be making announcements about the Lyons Fiddle Festival and will leave cards and flyers.

Mayfair Festival of the Arts
Allentown Fairgrounds, will be held May 27, 4:30-9:30 p.m., May 28 and 29, 12-9:30 p.m., May 30, 12-6 p.m. Saturday, May 28, Keith Brintzenhoff, Lyons Fiddle Festival MC and committee chairperson, will make announcements and have flyers at the stage.

Summer concert series in the Kutztown Park Bandshell
